0-5 Support
Sometimes, families may need extra support and we want to make sure people get the right help at the right time. In the first instance, you might seek help from friends and family and ‘universal’ service providers such as your GP, health visitor, your child’s early years provider or school.

Portage is a home-visiting service for children aged 1 to 3 years with significant developmental delay and complex SEND needs.

Families & Babies
FAB provide peer support services offering evidence based information & support to help improve health & well-being within families.
If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4 years, and on a low income or qualifying benefit, you may be entitled to weekly support towards:
- Plain liquid cow's milk
- Fresh, frozen, and tinned fruit and vegetables
- Fresh, frozen, and tinned pulses
- Infant formula milk based on cow's milk
- Healthy Start vitamins
- Vitamin drops for babies and young children
The NHS Healthy Start scheme aims to help those who are eligible buy food and milk through a prepaid card.
