NCS Grant Giving
A exciting new funding opportunity for the youth work sector that is being spearheaded by the National Citizen Service (NCS) with support from the National Youth Agency and Street Games.
NCS will be awarding grants to local organisations delivering community-based experiences at a grassroots level, for the first time. Two different types of grant programmes are being developed: Open to All and Targeted Grants:
- Open to All Grants These year-round grants are for regularly scheduled programmes that are embedded in young people’s local communities, with structure and support from NCS Trust, but locally tailored by you, the grantee. NCS will offer grants to deliver Open to All programmes and the grant amount will be based on the number of young people between the defined age range in those regions.
- Targeted Grants These grants may be given for scaling your existing intervention, or trialing a new innovation, with targeted groups of young people. We will offer a variety of larger and smaller grants, creating opportunities for national or regional organisations, alongside small grassroots organisations.
