The Delamere Dairy Foundation


The Delamere Dairy Foundation, founded in 2020, is open to applications from registered charities and other organisations based in England, Scotland and Wales whose work benefits local communities, and whose purpose aligns with the Foundation’s key priorities of:


The advancement of agriculture and environmental protection.
The advancement in life of young people by developing their capabilities so that they may mature as contributory members of society.
The relief of financial hardship.
The advancement of education, and
The relief of sickness.

Grants of between £250 and £5,000 are available to charities and not-for-profit organisations in England, Scotland and Wales. Each eligible charity and organisation may apply once per calendar year.


A few examples of projects supported so far by the Foundation are available on its website (scroll down the page), while the charities supported during the Foundation’s last reported financial year are listed on page 3 of its annual accounts.

So far, the Foundation's grant-making has indicated a preference for supporting projects in Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire. However, It is expected that the number and geographic scope of charities supported will increase as the Foundation develops its grant-making portfolio.
