Clubs & Groups Newsletter 8/11/22

Hello!

Dorset Youth would like to thank you for your patience while we have been recruiting for our new Youth Development Manager to help support the clubs and groups in Dorset. And we can now introduce you to Lilly Markwell who will be fulfilling this role.

Lilly has been working for Dorset Youth for nearly a year now and has helped us manage the UK Year of Service programme and VoiceX. She will now be helping to support the clubs & groups as well as increasing opportunities for young people through Young leaders and employability programmes.

To get in contact for support with your youth club or group please email

clubsupport@dorsetyouth.com or lillymarkwell@dorsetyouth.com

We have collated all the data from the VoiceX survey and the findings are now available in our report

VoiceX Report

Youth Work Week is an annual week long celebration organised by the NYA celebrating everything Youth Work! Our theme this year is A Festival of Youth Work. NYA are encouraging young people, youth workers and those who fund, commission or lead youth work to join in by celebrating the positive impact youth work has on young people in the present, and for the future.
