DORSET YOUTH & DORSET COUNCILS CORE OFFER
Dorset Youth & Dorset Council are working in partnership on a training offer for people working in youth organisations across Dorset. The core offer includes Introduction to Youth Work and Level 2 Safeguarding, with further CPD opportunities available. We aim to run 4 Introduction to Youth Work and 4 Level 2 Safeguarding course throughout the year, in a variety of venues across the county.
We also aim to hold 3 Youth Work Training days each year, across the county with a variety of different training workshops for youth workers to increase their personal development.
Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice and Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Practice
These nationally recognised youth work qualifications give you the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to be able to support young people’s personal, social and educational development and enable them to reach their full potential. Provided there is sufficient sign up to make each course viable, we currently run two Level 2 courses each year (one starting in the Spring and one starting in the Autumn) and one Level 3 course each year (starting in the Autumn).
