BCP Libraries

BCP Libraries consists of 24 libraries across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas. If you are looking for free, friendly and fun things to do, look no further than your local libraries. All 24 libraries have a packed programme of events and activities for adults, children and families, and we’d love you to join us.

For your little ones, Wriggle & Rhyme is the perfect introduction to stories, rhymes and songs – and these weekly sessions are great for parents to meet and have a chat too. Pre-schoolers will love listening to stories at Toddler Time and making some simple crafts.

Our annual Summer Reading Challenge invites children aged 4-11 to read 6 books during the summer holidays, collecting rewards along the way and a medal and certificate at the end. Throughout the holidays you can join in with our special themed activities.

For young people, we offer work placements throughout the year and volunteering opportunities too.
