Crossways Youth and Community Centre

The charity was founded and registered in August 2016 when Dorset County Council decided to cease funding the Youth Service.

Since that time the Youth Club has been run by a team of volunteer leaders and helpers whilst the Trustees have endeavoured to establish firm foundations for the centre by securing income through hiring the building for a wide range of activities and functions as well as organising fundraising events and a regular Community Café.

Various groups use the centre on a regular basis: Youth Club, Stay and Play Group, Rainbows & Guides. It is HQ of DorSAR - Lowland Rescue-Dorset and is also used on an occasional basis for Leader Training events by the District Scouts.

The extensive field provides opportunities for activities and celebrations, both public and private.
