About Organisation
We would love to welcome you to any one of 31 libraries in Dorset where you can:
- Meet with friends.
- Look out for events and activities of interest to you – there may be some to explore below.
- Find opportunities to add to your CV and get involved with local communities through our volunteering roles.
- Use the Wi-Fi or the library computers to help with homework or job hunting.
- Not forgetting that you can still find a good book to relax with too. We are part of the South West region of library services pooling their respective catalogues to give you access to a fabulous choice of fiction or non-fiction titles, including the Reading Agency's Reading Well for Teens list of books recommended by young people and health experts.
- Ask library staff if you don’t know where to find the answers, they will be more than happy to help you.

If you aren’t popping in to one of our buildings, don’t forget you can find us online:
- Download e-books, audiobooks, e-magazines and e-comics free of charge on to your smart phone, tablet or other device.
- Find useful resources for study support on our online resources page.
- We often host online events so look out for those too.
- Follow us on Facebook; Twitter or Instagram.
Join for free, you can do this online as a digital member for access to the 24/7 e-resources or full membership means you can borrow up to 20 items at a time for 3 weeks.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
