Dorset SENDIASS is a free, impartial and confidential service aimed at empowering children and young people with SEND aged 0-25 and their parents/carers to make informed choices about education, health and social care.

Our service provides:

• a telephone helpline with 24-hour voicemail(Where you can leave a message and we will arrange to call you back. Please include any urgent deadlines or need, your postcode and availability for call back, so that we can triage your call appropriately. We will usually respond within 5 working days)
• email advice line
• face-to-face support
• help to prepare for meetings
• written information
• signposting to other services and people who can help
• support through the Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan process

We will help you:

• clearly understand your rights around send law and practices, providing local knowledge and signposting, so you can make sure your voice is heard.
