Parent Carers Together

Parent Carers Together (PCT) is a friendly parent carer forum set up to represent the voices of Parent Carers of children and young people (0-25 years) with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP).

We are a key partner of BCP Council, Dorset NHS and the voluntary sector to ensure that local services and facilities better meet the needs of SEND children, young people and their families.

We work in partnership with the local authority, health services and other service providers to:

• Raise awareness
• Influence change
• Support parents and carers
• To have a voice in how SEND services are shaped and delivered in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

We are passionately working towards a future whereby parents and carers and professionals work together and develop service decisions that are made in an equal reciprocal relationship.
