About Organisation

We are one the UK’s most respected mental health charities, founded by the family of Charlie Waller who took his own life in 1997 whilst suffering from depression.

Our vision is of a world where people understand and talk openly about mental health, where young people and those who support them are equipped to maintain and enhance their mental health and wellbeing, and have the confidence to seek help when they need it.

We help young people to understand their own mental health, to equip them to support themselves and those around them, and to empower them to talk more openly about the subject. Most of our work is delivered to those responsible for young people - schools, families, colleges, universities, the workplace and primary care - through consultancy, training and the provision of educational and practical resources.

For more information, please visit our website where you will also find mental health resources, webinars, online training, advice for parents and carers and much more.
