Children & Young people

When Children and Young Persons struggle, they may find it difficult to know who to turn to, and how to manage their emotions and problems. Counselling offers a safe space which is completely confidential and non-judgemental where challenges and emotions can be explored. Young people come for counselling for many reasons. There is a lot of pressure on young people today. Problems at home, at school, or in the community. Problems include addiction, gaming, social media, bullying, self-harm, relationships, eating disorders, sexuality and more. Sometimes these problems can seem too big to deal with alone; counselling can offer the extra support needed to navigate through tricky patches in life.
