An independent Youth Service supporting the young people of Portland (8-21 years). Situated in the PTC Community Hub, The Drop In is a safe and inclusive environment for Young People to build self-confidence and compassionate relationships with peers.

Our Vision

Our vision focuses on improving the emotional, social and educational quality of life for our young people. To impact positively on the social deprivation that has been highlighted as a significant issue within the local community, and to increase social mobility and social inclusion across our demographic. We aim to expand on the valuable work we have already undertaken, to reach a greater number of young people and to work closely with the wider community to ensure that we always offer the ‘best fit’ in terms of service, taking into consideration not just the long standing and well-established issues our young people face, but also those issues that arise as we move forward, whether they are personal to individual needs and/or reflect a larger shift within the socio-demographic environment.
