About Organisation

We work with nature – nature engages all our senses, can make us feel calmer, spark curiosity and kindle our spirits. We also work for nature by giving nature spaces our care and attention, making them richer for wildlife.

We wish to work with people in our community – children, young people, adults or families – to foster wellbeing and connection. We will put our efforts into providing opportunities for those who need it the most and will seek funding to support those with fewer resources.

We offer nature-based activities that bring about small but positive changes in people’s lives – providing safe and welcoming opportunities for people to learn more about themselves, to build friendships and shared experiences, and to connect to the natural eco-systems that sustain and inspire us. We are inspired and underpinned by the forest school approach that is learner-centred, long term and fosters curiosity, confidence, self-esteem, resilience and inclusion. Our expertise is in providing longer term programmes, though we may also host one-off events.

We can:

🌿Bring people to the field

🌿Take Thriving Wild to people

🌿Develop projects with you

We are a small and local team. We want to grow slowly and sustainably and in ways that respond to the needs of our community. This could include:

🌿Long-term forest school programme for neurodiverse children

🌿Long term programme for older teens or young adults

🌿On-going adult wellbeing group

🌿Sessions in support of our local community groups and organisations

🌿Periodic family sessions

🌿One-off events that bring people together for community building and fun
