About Organisation

At YMC, our purpose is to empower the current and future generations by nurturing the potential of children, adolescents and families. We believe that every young mind deserves guidance, every family deserves support, and every educational initiative deserves a chance to thrive.

Our mission is multifaceted:

1. Child Coaching: We provide expert coaching to children and adolescents, fostering their growth, resilience, and confidence as they navigate the journey of life, preparing for their future.

2. Family Coaching: We offer guidance and strategies to families, helping them build stronger connections and create nurturing environments for their loved ones.

3. Coach Training and Consultancy: We empower individuals and institutions with the knowledge and tools to create a positive impact. Our multi-level coaching training programme is designed not only to nurture skilled professionals but also to inform and train all young minds supporters. Additionally, through our consultancy services, we assist educational and supporting organisations in securing funding necessary to shape brighter futures.

Through our unwavering commitment to education, support, and advocacy, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of young minds, families, and the communities in which they thrive. Join us on this journey towards a brighter tomorrow, where 'Holding pattern support'* strives to ensure that no one is left waiting for the help they deserve."

*"Holding pattern support" is akin to the concept of aircraft stacking up over an airport, waiting for their turn to land. In the context of coaching and counselling, it represents an interim engagement designed to assist individuals who are waiting for more comprehensive support services, which may have long waiting periods due to high demand and limited resources.

Imagine a situation where someone recognises the need for coaching, counselling or other therapy to address personal challenges or mental health concerns. However, due to various reasons, they find themselves on a waiting list, facing a potentially extended period before they can access the specialised support they require.

This is where "holding pattern support" comes into play. It offers a bridge to sustain individuals while they are in the waiting phase. During this interim period, trained professionals provide guidance, coping strategies, and emotional support. It aims to prevent issues from worsening during the waiting period and endeavours to ensure

that individuals continue to make progress towards their goals, even if they have not yet started their formal coaching or counselling journey.

Much like aircraft circling overhead before landing, "holding pattern support" ensures that individuals are not left in a status of uncertainty and inaction while waiting for more comprehensive services. Instead, it offers them interim assistance, helping them to navigate challenges and maintain their well-being until they can access the full support they need. Again, just like the aviation procedures, should a situation develop to require priority landing/intervention, the situation can be more rapidly assessed and appropriate action taken.

In essence, "holding pattern support" is a lifeline that plans to help individuals move forward on their path to personal growth and well-being, even when they are waiting to receive more specialised assistance.
