About Project

An opportunity for Autistic children (diagnosed or on the pathway) or those who are socially anxious to learn how to grow edible plants in an environmentally conscious way. We have very kindly been given a plot of land at St Mary’s School’s Edible Garden, which is a safe and secure area.

Our lead gardener Kat will show the children how to prepare the planting area, and discuss the lifecycle of plants and how seeds germinate. The children will be invited to share in the planning process, selecting plants and sowing seeds. There will be a range of fun activities whatever the weather!

If you would like to attend a session please email info@ascapegroup.org or message to let us know to expect you.
