About Project

Blandford Young Farmers is a thriving club for any young person aged between 10-26yrs. They currently have around 22 members at the moment and are looking to increase this through the year. They meet every Wednesday evening at various locations for different weekly talks, events and club get togethers. They take part in a few competitions over the year and have a great range of activities to keep the members busy. They have recently held their annual clay shoot which was extremely well attended. Blandford also organised the Dorset YFC Stock Judging Competition this year. They also recently attended the Down Barn Farm, Open Sunday Event. This year the club are fundraising for Teddy 20 (a Blandford based charity for children with cancer) and have already held events to start building the funds such as a Christmas Tree Collection Event, Easter Sunday cream teas, their Clay shoot and a raffle at Open Farm Sunday.
