About Project

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

There are currently 16 Groups spread across Dorchester and West Dorset District, they all provide great Scouting activities for youngsters within their area. We have sessions for 4-25 year olds and our provision is as follows: Squirrels for 4-6 year olds, Beavers for 6-8 year olds, Cubs for 8-10.5 year olds, Scouts for 10.5-14 year olds, Explorers for 14-18 year olds and Network for 18-25 year olds.
