About Project

Dorset Youth & Dorset Council are working in partnership on a training offer for people working in youth organisations across Dorset

This training is suitable for anyone working with children and young people across Dorset that have not attended Level 2 training before.

The course will cover:

- What safeguarding is

- Types of abuse young people may experience

- Symptoms of abuse

- How to raise concerns

The Safer Schools and Communities Team will also be in attendance to provide their Online Safety training, raising current trends and signposting to organisations and resources to use with young people or if you have a concern about online behaviour.

The L2 Safeguard Training is delivered at different times throughout the year across various locations. Please look on Eventbrite to see all dates and locations for the year.
