What

Gillingham & Shaftesbury Young Farmers is a thriving club for any young person aged between 10-26yrs. They currently have a 22 members and are looking at increasing their membership over the next year. They meet every Wednesday evening at The Coppleridge Inn, Motcombe, however they have many visits and trips so the venue changes according to the meeting. This year they will be running their normal Stall at the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show which is always a great event. They take part in a lot of the competitions over the year and have a great range of activities to keep the members busy. This year the club organised the Dorset YFC County Quiz which was extremely well attended. They held a very successful Auction of Promises this year and raised £2500.00 for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
