Funded by the SNG I Will Fund, we are launching our new youth-led social action programme - Podcast Heroes. A 7-week programme of podcasting workshops broken up into two clubs a week, the first on a Thursday afternoon and the second on a Saturday morning. The aim of this club is to give young people aged 10-20 years old agency to create a production team, come up with community themes, explore the technicality of sound production and gain confidence in interviewing and hosting. We are aiming to engage 15 young people to upskill to become well-being champions. What this means is they will gain confidence by producing content for the community; creating opportunities for more young people and drive the club in the direction they want.
