About the venue

Our Arts Education centre is situated in the heart of Boscombe and boasts two large versatile spaces that Charities and social enterprise can hire by donation for private or public events, rehearsals, or community meet-ups. The venue must be used wholly for charitable purposes. University Students may also use the venue for free as this falls under the umbrella of arts education.

The 1,350 sq. ft studio space boasts a huge 4 x 3.5 metre cinema screen and an Optoma Laser Projector with High Definition 1080p Resolution giving sharp and detailed images. All this is complimented by a hair raising HEOS soundbar and trouser flapping bass. Children can kick back and relax in the new uber comfortable bean bag chairs. We have 5 portable dance mirrors, 30 iPads, an iMac Suite, private rooms for 1:1 therapy, a sound booth for podcasting (seats 6 children or 4 adults) that can be hired at a small additional cost.

The Arts Centre can seat up to 30 children and is best used for painting, clay and messy workshops. We also have a portable kitchen that we set up on the roof outdoors in pleasant weather for cookery classes.

All rooms have Wi-Fi which is free to use on the Guest Network.

Parking is available at a minimal cost in The Sovereign Shopping Centre. Roof access is available for deliveries and dropping off heavy equipment etc.

Whilst the hire of the arts centre is free, we do ask for a charitable donation to cover costs of overheads that would be incurred by its use.
