The activity runs from 12 February 2024 to 12 February 2025. The Dorset Youth does not manage bookings for this activity and is not responsible for the delivery of the project. If you have any questions, please contact the organisation directly.

Session times, frequency and venue are tailored to suit the young person's needs. One-to-one sessions can happen during groups: young people can request this from the leader in charge.

What

Space Youth Project offers one-to-one support to people under 25 who are especially vulnerable.

A one-to-one session allows the young person to be in a non-judgmental space with someone who will assist in empowering them to take control of their own life through support, guidance, advice or signposting.

​During a session the young person begins to develop an understanding of their feelings and life experiences so that, over time,they learn to deal more appropriately with life’s adversities.

Session times, frequency and venue are tailored to suit the young person's needs. One-to-one sessions can happen during groups: young people can request this from the leader in charge.

Please be aware that this service is not to be used in place of mainstream services.

It can provide ongoing support that is alongside mainstream services, or help a young person access mainstream services.
