About Project

As Young Farmers we are completely outstanding in our field!! Sherborne YFC is a group of approximately 60 members, aged between 10-24, who just love to get stuck in. Our members enjoy participating in a variety of events and activities, including competitions, meetings, fundraising, sports, trips and parties. So far this year, our meetings have included farm walks, company visits, talks, demonstrations and teambuilding activities. We have just raised £1,200 for the Yeatman Hospital in Sherborne by auctioning off a trailer of straw, which was all donated by the farming families within our club. Earlier this year we were the overall winners of the rally shield, showing how our teamwork and vast participation can lead to great achievement. Sherborne YFC has a growing number of friendly members who have plenty of energy and buckets of enthusiasm. As you may be able to tell, we have plenty of opportunities to get involved with and would love to encourage more people to join us. We meet every Thursday at 7:30pm, so come on down. You do not have to be a farmer to be in Young Farmers!
