About Organisation

Welcome to the Dorset Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs

Dorset YFC is part of The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC). This is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK.

Established in 1921 NFYFC heads a nationwide body of 662 Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFCs) throughout England and Wales dedicated to supporting young people with an interest in agriculture and the countryside.

We have 8 clubs in Dorset: Beaminster, Blandford, Gillingham & Shaftesbury, Puddletown, Marshwood Vale, Sherborne, Sturminster Newton and Wareham & Purbeck.

All clubs welcome new members and have a varied programme of meetings. To find out more about clubs in your area click on the club link or just give us a call or an email and we will pass on club specific contact details.

Dorset YFC is always looking for new members and adult volunteers to act as club leaders and associates. There are many training opportunities available so if you are interested please do not hesitate to contact us!

Remember you don’t have to be a farmer to be a young farmer!
