About Project
Beaminster Young Farmers is a thriving club for any young person aged between 10-26yrs, and currently has 32 junior members. The club is a great place for meeting new people and making friends, we have members who attend Beaminster, Woodroffe , Sir John Colfox School and Dorset studio school.
We meet on alternate Tuesday nights at Broadwindsor Village hall, 7.30pm – 9pm, we have a great social life, joining other clubs and other counties at Party’s and Balls. We also take part in South West Area and National Competitions. All members really enjoy taking part in county sports activities, club visits and many more county events. We try to keep the meetings fun and busy, in the last few years we have held a farm walk and skittles evenings and been paddle boarding. The Juniors have competed in the Kwick cricket and Junior Stockman at South West Area which is a massive achievement for our small club. We enjoy fundraising and this year are making a donation to Cancer Research. There are so many opportunities for everyone in Young Farmers, team sports, worldwide travel, public speaking, and even potential love life !!! – All you have to do is come along and join in !!
