What

In this session we allow more independence for the young people, only placing youth workers in 2 of the 5 rooms. The other youth workers float between rooms, checking in with the young people and conducting 1-1 chats with people who request them. The young people are allowed to roam freely around each room. In this session the young people can also use the boxing equipment under supervision.

The 5 rooms we have to offer are:

1. The Zen Den, a calm, quiet space to relax, learn how to meditate, identify emotions and have 1-1 chats with our youth workers.
2. A Sports Hall to play fun games and release excess energy in a healthy way.
3. The Arts & Crafts room, where you have access to endless amounts of paper, card, pens, paint, clay and funky craft items! We also have a music corner, with karaoke, keyboards, drums, guitars etc and you can learn how to make your own music.
4. There is a Games room, with Pokémon, D&D, lightsabres and there is also a large Mac computer you can play Minecraft, Dress up games etc.
5. Finally, there is The Lobby, a large open room with comfy sofas, beanbags and big blankets. It's a space for you to chill out, chat with friends and youth workers.
