The activity runs from 12 February 2024 to 20 February 2026. The Dorset Youth does not manage bookings for this activity and is not responsible for the delivery of the project. If you have any questions, please contact the organisation directly.
Referrals can be made via GP surgeries by parents/carers or the young person themselves. The sessions can take place in a school environment, at a GP surgery or online.
What
Active Monitoring gives people aged 11-18, through a programme of 1-2-1 guided self-help sessions, the opportunity to explore their feelings and emotions with a friendly trained practitioner.
Referrals can be made via GPs. This service is currently run out of certain GP surgeries. Please see our website for more information.
Active Monitoring provides pathways to help support mild to moderate mental health issues such as Grief and Loss, Anger, Low Mood, Self-esteem, and Anxiety and Stress across five half an hour sessions.
Session times/ days are organised with the practitioner. Young People Active Monitoring - Dorset Mind

If your GP surgery is not listed that means we are not currently covering that area however please do keep checking as we are hoping to continue to expand; or take a look at our other services offered for children & young people.
