Grants of up to £2,200 are available to smaller UK organisations working with disadvantaged children to provide activities and services so that they can enjoy a happy, healthy and fun childhood - applications looked at the last day of each month

Magic Little Grants Programme for 2023 – One-off grants of up to £500 are available for small, local community groups and charities, including Community Interest Companies, in England, Scotland and Wales for projects in the areas of the arts, physical activity, biodiversity, environmental sustainability, green spaces, improving community access to outdoor space, mental health and wellbeing, the relief of poverty and support for marginalised groups - deadline 31st October 2023

The J & J Charitable Trust – A small number of grants of varying sizes are available to registered charities in England and Wales for a wide range of charitable purposes. The Trust has previously demonstrated a preference for supporting charities working with children and young people, the elderly, people with a disability and Jewish causes - applications may be made at any time in writing.

THE 7STARS FOUNDATION – Project grants up to £2,500 are available for smaller UK registered charities working with children and young people aged 16 and under in the areas of abuse, addiction, caring for sick and disabled adults, and homelessness. Application deadline: Sunday 30^th April 2023

The Delamere Dairy Foundation – Grants of between £250 and £5,000 are available to registered charities and charitable organisations in England, Scotland and Wales working in the areas or agriculture, the environment, education, children and young people, financial hardship and the relief of sickness. Application deadline Thursday 31st August 2023

Barclays Community Football Fund – Grants of up to £500 are available to UK not-for-profit organisations, including community groups, youth groups and traditional football clubs, to make football more inclusive and accessible within communities.  Deadline for applications Sunday 31st December 2023

The Rayne Foundation Open Grants Programme – Multi-year revenue grants up to 3 years and normally between £10,000 and £20,000 are available to UK registered charities and not-for-profit organisations supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the areas of young people’s mental health, arts as a mechanism for social change, carers and older people, and refugees and asylum seekers. Applications can be made at any time.

The Magdalen Hospital Trust – One-off project grants, usually for between £200 and £3,000, are available to smaller UK registered charities with an annual income of under £150,000 working with disadvantaged children aged 25 and under. Application deadline: TUESDAY 28th FEBRUARY 2023. Further application windows for 2023 are provided.

THE HENRY SMITH CHARITY HOLIDAY GRANTS FOR CHILDREN – Grants of between £500 and £2,750 for UK youth clubs, charities, not-for-profit groups and schools to provide recreational trips or holidays for children aged 13 years and younger who live in an area of high deprivation and are experiencing disability or disadvantage. Application deadline - Friday 19th May 2023

Grants are available to registered charities, both local and national, that are working for the relief of poverty, distress and sickness and the advancement of education, religion and charitable purposes which benefit communities in Dorset and West Hampshire.

Capital and revenue grants of between £3,000 and £15,000 are available for local community sports projects to encourage more people to become active in sport and physical activities. Applicants do not have to be a sports organisation to apply - Sport England is more interested in the applicants' knowledge of and track record in the community that will benefit from the project - deadline Friday 30th June 2023

Save the Children’s Children and Young People Climate Fund (The Great Big Green Week) – Grants of between £300 and £800 are available to a range of UK not-for-profit organisations, including registered charities, Community Interest Companies, schools and local authorities, for child and youth-focused activities that celebrate action on climate change during the Great Big Green Week (10th to 18th June 2023) – deadline 13^th April 2023

Grants generally up to £2,000 are available for projects that enable people to engage with nature, art and movement for wellbeing, tackle inequalities and enable people to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - applications can be made at any time

Funding is available to projects that make Dorset safer in line with the Police and Crime Plan priorities.

Grants are available for locally based small-scale registered charities in the UK to support children's summer playschemes - maximum value £1000 - applications are now open with a deadline of 6th April 2023 (noon)

The Sports Foundation for the Disabled – Revenue grants of up to £5,000 are available to individuals and charitable organisations, including Town and Parish Councils, in the South West of England and Wales for projects and activities that facilitate access to sporting opportunities for people with a disability. Applications can be made at any time.

THE BOSHIER-HINTON FOUNDATION – Revenue grants up to £2,000 are available for UK registered charities and Community Interest Companies working with children and adults with special educational or other needs. Applications may be made at any time by application form.

The Michael Cornish Charitable Trust - Small grants, nominally up to £5,000 but usually of £1,000 are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas. Application deadline Sunday 18^th June 2023

UK Youth and the Pears Foundation - Cost of Living Grants – Unrestricted grants for up to 3 years are available to UK youth organisations with an annual turnover of £500,000 to help them cover rising operational costs due to the cost-of-living crisis.

Asda Foundation - Empowering Local Communities Grant - Grants are available to community groups in the UK to support a broad range of activities which can contribute towards transforming their community and improving the lives of people in their community. Support to help with the cost of living rise and for refugees is available. Grants of between £400 and £1,600 are available. The closing date for applications is 21 April 2023
